Dr. Paul Cachat, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S
Specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, conservative and surgical treatment of conditions associated with the foot and ankle, Dr. Cachat has been practicing podiatric medicine and foot surgery for over 30 years. He also provides home care service to home-bound patients and Assisted Living Facilities.
Dr. Cachat attended St. Edward High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from John Carroll University in University Heights, OH. He received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He has trained in the world renowned Harrison Hospital in trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
After completing podiatric medical school, Dr. Cachat ran a successful practice in Lakewood, Ohio where he also was the former head of Podiatry for the Fairview Hospital System. During that time, Dr. Cachat has been an innovator in podiatric surgery. In doing so, he has published countless articles and helped to perfect many cutting edge procedures in the field of podiatry.
Dr. Cachat is a long term diplomat to the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is affiliated with the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association, and the Northeast Ohio Academy of Podiatric Medicine. He is a dedicated supporter of the West Coast Health Ministry providing no cost care to the under-privileged of Cleveland.
Dr. Cachat is a devoted father to his three sons and a loving grandpa to his grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys gardening and is an extremely skillful carpenter.
